Blue Parker, CSW

Hey y’all! I’m Blue (she/they) a Certified Social Worker (CSW). I'm a first-generation student and graduated from Weber State University with my Masters in Social Work in 2023. I am passionate about social justice and advocating for the rights of the 2SLGTBQIA+ community and their intersecting identities. Much of what drew me to social work is my own lived experience as a queer, non-binary, multiply neurodivergent person. I like to utilize both my educational and lived experience knowledge to best help folxs in therapy.

As a relational therapist, I strongly believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe nonjudgmental space that helps cultivate self-discovery. An important piece of my work in the therapy space is acknowledging and recognizing the impacts of historic systemic oppression on people with marginalized identities.

Additionally, my approach to therapy draws from experiential modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), coherence therapy, and somatic practices. Something I love about IFS is that it operates from the belief that we have ‘no bad parts’. Pretty cool, huh? I also utilize harm reduction, ERP, DBT, breathwork, and mindfulness.

I am deeply committed to empowering my clients to help them uncover their intrinsic ability to access healing from within and feel more connected to self.

I grew up in Missouri (so basically, I’m a Midwest princess? lol) and now reside in Northern Utah. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our fur babies. I love being outside in nature, spending time with friends, and connecting with my community. I'm a sucker for the moon's cycles, love divination tools, and astrology <3
