Heather Rubey, LAMFT-I
Heather Rubey, BA, LAMFT Intern was born and raised in Southern California and has lived in Montana, Utah, Oregon, and Washington throughout her life. She has graduated with her MCFC Masters at Walden University.
As a therapist she works to create a safe, respectful, relaxed and calm space to support you on your journey to process trauma, work on anxiety and depression, and relationship issues. Ultimately, this would include finding who you are, supporting you in being able to communicate with your loved ones, work on finding common ground and assisting you to love and support yourself.
The modalities that she most commonly uses are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (individual, family and trauma), Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and psycho-education in a conversational manner.
It would be her goal to help you delve into the past, address the present, to open up options for the future by working on negative patterns and thoughts that are blocking the path of your best possible life.
