Veronica Argyle, Associate Therapist

Veronica (she/they) is a Certified Social Worker with a passion for exploring intersectionality and engaging in community-building. They received a Bachelor of Gender Studies degree and a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Utah. In addition to therapy, Veronica also has a background in child welfare working with large systems in an effort to make them more responsive to the individual needs of those they serve.

Veronica’s practice takes a culturally-responsive and trauma-informed approach to therapy that recognizes the importance of mind/body connectivity in healing and finding personal growth. They tailor their therapeutic approach to work collaboratively with the strengths and needs of each individual, including elements from Feminist Multicultural Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has also completed level 1 clinical coursework for the Gottman Method for couples therapy and is trained in Embodied Flow yoga (200YTT).

Veronica works with adults from a variety of populations on a wide span of issues. She often incorporates mindfulness interventions as well as somatic experiences like yoga, movement, and nature into her work. Veronica is LGBTQIA+ affirming and identifies as nonbinary and queer. In her free time, they enjoy spending time in the mountains, trying all the coffee shops she can find, and curling up with a craft project while binge-watching Doctor Who.
