Benjamin Tolman, Student Intern

I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work at Utah Valley University, building upon my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I have a lot of real world experience. Before I returned to school in construction, and data organization.

I’ve also spent the last 10 years volunteering with different organizations and people; I’ve worked with refugees, foster children, hospice patients, drug rehab clients, and therapy group.

My therapeutic approach comes with a lot of compassion and radical acceptance. I’ve seen a lot and know how hard life can be. I strive to create a safe space to talk and work on personal growth. I encourage taking good care of yourself and I'm passionate about teaching practical skills to enhance your well-being and offer a wealth of tips and tricks.

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy classic cartoons like Steven Universe, Bob's Burgers, and Adventure Time. I love music and often listen to it a little too loud. I appreciate a variety of genres, including pop rock, rap, country, and my personal favorite, big band music like Glenn Miller and Count Basie; and sometimes you can find me out on the dance floor.
