Duane Domino, MA, LMFT

Duane (He/Him) is a licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about working with couples, families, and adolescents. He has extensive training in enhancing parent-child relationships.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University, Duane brings both academic and practical expertise to his work. Over the past few years, he has played a key role in developing and delivering educational programming on healthy relationships to Middle and High Schools across Summit and Wasatch Counties.

Duane’s professional experience spans a wide range of settings, including the legal system, inpatient mental health care, and substance abuse treatment in outpatient contexts. He also addresses more common marital, family, and individual concerns. This diverse background has fueled his dedication to working with individuals, couples, and families of varied ethnicities, faiths, and sexual orientations.

Originally from San Diego, Duane’s adulthood began with a move to Michigan, where he lived and worked as a social worker in Flint before relocating to Utah in 2010 to attend BYU. Though his graduate studies were paused to meet family needs—he and his wife are parents to five children—Duane eventually earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from UVU.

In his personal time, Duane enjoys playing softball, building things around the house as part of his self-care, listening to music, and dancing—especially to the Hamilton soundtrack, which he enjoys on repeat. He is also a proud grandfather to a grandson and granddaughter.
