Gioia Johnson, Student Intern

Gioia Johnson (she/her) is from San Diego, CA. She is a masters-level intern for Flourish Therapy.

Gioia has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from BYU and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from UVU. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree from UVU.

She has worked in a variety of settings: schools, residential treatment centers, with the unhoused population, and has aided clients in crisis situations. She also has clinical experience working with individuals and couples.

Gioia is passionate about normalizing mental health care and advocating for marginalized populations. She is a former Mormon and loves helping people navigate faith-related issues.
