Katie Clegg, ACMHC
Katie Clegg (she/they; bi) has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Capella University. They love working with LGBTQ+ adults, often incorporating dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and internal family systems (IFS).
Areas of interest in therapy treatment include gender, sexuality, culture, neurodiversity, intersectionality, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, and navigating religion, spirituality, or faith crisis/transition. They value kindness, lifelong learning, empathy, and holding a safe space for clients.
Katie loves spending time with her spouse, two kids, and dog. She also enjoys reading/writing fantasy fiction, attending beginner ballet classes, crocheting, music, eating chocolate, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends.
