Kayt Condie, Student Intern

My pronouns are she/her. I am in an Advanced Standing MSW program and will be graduating in August. I currently work at the state prison as a social service worker (caseworker) on a treatment team. I have professional experience with incarcerated individuals, substance use, child and family welfare, sexual abuse prevention, and depression/anxiety.

I grew up in southern Utah and can relate to those who have grown up as queer individuals in the LDS church. I hope to create great therapeutic alliances with my clients and have a strong rapport so that therapy can be effective. My main goal when working with clients is helping them build a life worth living.

In my free time when I am not at work or doing school I love outdoor activities like snowboarding, biking/dirt-biking and camping. I also love to travel and do these activities with my wife. I also enjoy spending time with loved ones.
