Kristen Schmitt, Student Intern
Kristen Schmitt (she/they) is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. They are in their final year of
UVU’s
Master of Social Work program.
They value compassion and collaboration and aim to bring both into therapy sessions. Kristen is particularly passionate about working with people in the LGBTQIA+ community and those going through faith transitions. Growing up Catholic, and later participating in the LDS church, she relates to the unique challenges that come from being queer within strong religious environments. When not being a therapist, Kristen enjoys spending time with their loved ones, playing cozy games and learning to play guitar.
