Simantha Stewart, CSW
Simantha recently graduated from the Masters of Social Work program at Western New Mexico University. Her undergraduate degree is in sociology, minoring in women’s studies and disability studies from the University of Wyoming. Simantha is from a rural Wyoming town and enjoys being outdoors. In her free time, she also loves reading, traveling, spending time with family, and expanding her knowledge base.
Simantha enjoys working with all demographics of people, especially the transgender and non-binary populations.
She prefers to take a person-in-environment/systems-based approach when working with clients. These approaches accompanied by a strengths-based perspective assist her in meeting her clients where they are at in their circumstances. Her goal is to assist her clients in feeling comfortable and safe to investigate their experiences and emotions.
