Morgan Charter, Student Intern

Morgan Charter (She/Her/They/Them) is from Utah County. Morgan is in her final year of her Masters degree pursuing Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Morgan received her Bachelor's degree in Family Science and Psychology from Utah Valley University. Morgan has several years working with children and the children welfare system.

Morgan is passionate about working with children, teenagers, and young adults. Their approach is client center, trauma informed and culturally sensitive. They are a proud member of the LGBTQIA2+ community and are passionate about advocating for the rights and inclusion of LGBTQIA2+ individuals. Morgan utilizes many approaches tailored to their clients. She utilizes Mindfulness based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, queer theory, feminist theory, and humanistic perspectives. Morgan is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and affirming care for their clients.
I'm excited to meet you and begin a healing journey with you through therapy centered on your unique and individual needs, values, interests, hopes, and goals.

In their free time, Morgan spends time with her wife and two hairless cats camping, exploring the mountains, fishing, and gardening.
